Speaker 0 00:02:44 Food. Great. If things there is no power, like the power of Jesus live faith at all, do agree. There is no power like the power.
Speaker 2 00:04:42 Hey, everybody. Welcome to Valley Creek on line. And I am so glad that you are here with us today because today is a really big deal. You see, for the last seven months we've been meeting on line only, and next weekend, we get to start gathering at our campuses. Once again, I mean, what a wild seven months, this has been seven months ago. None of us saw this coming. We would have never thought that we wouldn't have met for even one weekend, let alone for seven months, we didn't see the Corona coming. We didn't see the pandemic coming. And yet in the midst of that, as we were all kind of scattered each to his own home, then God has been so good to us in this journey. And I want to say to so many of you, I am so grateful for how you engage during the season.
Speaker 2 00:05:35 Is he, even though we weren't at our campuses, we never stopped being Valley Creek. We never stopped being a family on mission. We didn't stop being a movement of hope for the city and beyond. In fact, I want to celebrate you. I want to thank you for the way that you gave for the way that you served for the way that you prayed and God in circles and lived on mission. Continuing to be hope carriers in your space. You, you engage with us to the best of your ability, and God has done some amazing things in you in us and in our city over these past seven months. And so next week, and we get to open our doors. Once again, harbors of hope, functioning in all of our different cities. And I can't wait to see so many of you, and I know some of you, you're not yet ready to come back to campus.
Speaker 2 00:06:25 No problem. You come back whenever you feel ready, but starting next week at all of our campuses, our doors are going to be open. You are invited. The city is invited and it is really for people who feel comfortable to come. See, I told you that we really, we don't want to be a COVID focus church. We want to be a Jesus focused church. And on the very first week, this whole Corona virus started the very first message I recorded to share with you. When we weren't meeting at our campuses, I told you, I said, Hey, some of us are way over here and we don't think this is a big deal. And some of us are way over here. And we think this is the biggest thing that's ever happened in our lifetime. And I told you, we one, that it doesn't matter if you're over here of you're over here.
Speaker 2 00:07:08 The real question is how do you honor people who think differently or feel differently than you? And so if you're going to come back to campus, we don't have all these rules and regulations. We have some basic stuff you can see on our website. The real question is this is, if you don't think this is a big deal, how are you going to honor people that do? And if you think this is the biggest deal ever, and there should be all kinds of rules and regulations, how are you going to honor? The people that don't think this is a big deal? You see, this is about us actually implementing the kingdom of God in our lives and in our church. I mean, think about this family, man. The Bible says we're a family. The church of Jesus is a family on mission and it's in family.
Speaker 2 00:07:54 Or you learn how to work out your difference. It's in family where you learn how to be offended and yet work through that offense and forgive it's in family where you learn to have disagreements with other people and yet choose to get over those disagreements to move forward and be a part of a family because that family is more important than the disagreement, the opinion or the perspective. And so guess what? This whole Corona virus thing and how we should act and not act at this point. It really, for us is an opportunity for us to practice kingdom values in our family. So we know how to live them out in the world. So we're just going to honor each other. In fact, that's basically, if you're coming back to campus, that's what I want to ask. You just honor people just honor where they are and how they feel.
Speaker 2 00:08:41 Leave a seat in between you or two. And the next family that's going to sit next to you. We'll take care of the rest and we're going to start moving forward. And if you're not ready yet to come back, no problem stay online. Our online stuff is going to be excellent and amazing. We're going to keep moving forward with it and you come back whenever you feel ready, but I can't wait to see so many of you next weekend. And in a lot of ways, that's why I'm saying this is a really big deal. This weekend, Mark seven months for us meeting online next week, we're going to be back at our campuses. And, and what I think is so cool about these last seven months is for many of us, this was the first time we invited the kingdom of God into our home in a different way.
Speaker 2 00:09:27 You see for the last seven months, I want you to be aware of this. In fact, right now you're using technology to invite the kingdom of God into your home and your family and your life. That if we're honest, before the Corona virus, many of us only use the technology to invite the world into our home or to our family news and Netflix and media and the music of the world. We would stream it through technology into our life. But this season has given us this invitation to bring the kingdom of God through technology, into our lives. And I think that's one of the greatest things that's happened in this season. Us realizing that our journey with Jesus is so much more than a one hour a week experience at a church building. No, no, no, no. It's about the other hundred and 67 hours of the week where our faith is active and we're moving forward with God.
Speaker 2 00:10:16 And so as we get ready to now live this greater holistic life of Jesus with us, everywhere we go, and we get ready to start gathering at our campuses again, what I'd like to do today as this season kind of ends. And we start moving into the next season is I would just like to bless you and your home. You see blessing is a really big deal in the kingdom of God. You say, bless it. What does that mean? It just means it's the goodness of God. The power of God, the prosperity of God, the protection of God, the peace of God being released into your life. And if you read the old Testament, you'll discover that people really believed in the power they would go to. They would go to great lengths to get a blessing. Cause they knew how powerful it was. In fact, a blessing is like a gravitational pull.
Speaker 2 00:11:07 It's like a magnetic force that draws in the power, the prosperity, the protection and the peace of God. And it was God's idea. In fact, I love in numbers, chapter six, this is what God says. He says, this is how you shall bless the people. Say the Lord bless you and keep you the Lord, make his face, shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord, turn his face toward you and give you peace. And so what I'd like to do right now is I would like to just bless you and your family and your home. So wherever you are, would you just maybe stand up with me, maybe open up your hands. And I'm just going to kind of pray through this and just to Clair a blessing into your life. You see what I love about this blessing? It was, it was completely fulfilled in Jesus.
Speaker 2 00:11:58 The finished work, the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus released an unending blessing of God into your life. And I just want to declare it over you and your home and your family. So maybe just position yourself like this and by faith, maybe let's just receive this because what we really need is to receive the blessing of God, not spend our lives, chasing the blessings of this world. So the Lord bless you may the Lord bless you and your home and your family and your marriage and your relationships and your finances may his goodness and his grace and his favor. Be upon you. The Lord bless you
Speaker 3 00:12:41 And keep you may God keep you.
Speaker 2 00:12:45 He holds you in his hands as the good shepherd and the good father. May he protect you and keep you safe from the evil one from the darkness of this world, may you be aware that he will never leave you nor forsake you in jesus' name? And may he make his face shine upon you? That literally just means may God's smile upon you when God looks at you, may he be pleased? And may you understand that in the finished work of Jesus, the father as well, pleased in you, that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, that you are Holy, that you have been forgiven, that you have been redeemed. And when he sees you, he is pleased in you and he smiles upon you. May he make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. But you understand that grace is not just the forgiveness of your sins, but it's the complete empowerment of life.
Speaker 2 00:13:42 So may you know that in Jesus, you are forgiven and may you be empowered, empowered to live a life beyond yourself, empowered to live a kingdom life, empowered, to rise up and live a life of victory. The life of Jesus flowing through you. And may he turn his countenance upon you, which literally just means, may you be aware that God is aware of you, that he is focused on you may you, but you know that he ha you are the Apple of his eye, that you have his attention in every way, shape and form that of all the peoples on the earth may, you know, he notices you and may he give you peace,
Speaker 3 00:14:24 Shallow,
Speaker 2 00:14:25 Comprehensive, flourishing in every area of life. So may the peace of God in Jesus, rest upon your home, rest upon your marriage, rest upon your children and your finances and your education and your work and your hobbies and your body and your life
Speaker 3 00:14:47 In Jesus.
Speaker 2 00:14:49 You have been forever blessed,
Speaker 3 00:14:53 But you by faith chooses to receive that and allow them a magnetic gravitational pole to draw the power, the protection, the prosperity, and the peace of God into your home, into your family and into your life. May you allow the finished work of Jesus and the authority of this church and this leadership called the family of Valley Creek. Bless you, bless you in Jesus name and not only today, do I bless you in Jesus name? I invite you to bless others. You see, you've been blessed to be a blessing. We were created to receive the blessing of God, but then to release it into the world around you
Speaker 2 00:15:44 Right now, maybe even by faith,
Speaker 3 00:15:46 Can you just with me, can we just bless our church?
Speaker 2 00:15:50 In fact, wherever you are, maybe just position your body towards whichever direction
Speaker 3 00:15:54 Physically you, you think your campus is
Speaker 2 00:15:57 It's okay. You can kind of make it up, do a circle. I don't care wherever you are, whichever direction you think your canvas, come on. Just maybe raise your hands. And would you just out loud, would you just bless our church? Would you just say, God, would you just bless our church
Speaker 3 00:16:10 In jesus' name?
Speaker 2 00:16:12 Well, what's a prayer in your heart that you want to speak over our church. A blessing, God, I just pray that you would bless Valley Creek. I pray that you would bless every campus that we have, that they would be harbors of hope. God, I pray that you would bless us with unity in spirit and in life and in body. I pray that you would bless us, that we would move forward on mission, that you would rise up disciple makers and servants that you would allow generosity to flow. Lord, I pray that you would bless us with supernatural power with the kingdom being demonstrated and declared in Jesus name. I pray that you would bless our church and every campus with a Jesus focus, spirit filled life, giving people in Jesus name, come on, speak a blessing out overarching church over your head,
Speaker 3 00:16:59 The family that you are a part of in jesus' name.
Speaker 2 00:17:03 And now let's pray a blessing over our city. Come on. We're not just here for ourselves. We're here for the city and this season has taught us that a new way. So come on. Can you just bless the city, Lord, I bless this city. Maybe even just say it out loud, whatever city you're in. Just say it out, Lord. I bless this city in Jesus name. We've been told to seek the peace and the prosperity of the city, because if it prospers, we too shall prosper and we've been blessed to be a blessing. So God, I pray the blessing on the city. I pray that your kingdom would come, that your will would be done in this city as it is in heaven. But Lord, we pray that kindness would lead people to repentance. We pray that Jesus would be lifted up and he would draw all men unto themselves. We pray that you would open the eyes of the, that you would loose the ears of the death, that you would, that you would create a desperation and a hunger in the spirit of this city for the goodness and the graciousness of God. Lord, we ask you to bless every area of life with hold carriers who would rise up and influence those spaces with the knowledge of the glory of the goodness of God that your kingdom would come in this city and beyond. And one more with me, come on, can you now
Speaker 3 00:18:17 Bless God you say, bless God. Isn't he supposed to bless me? Yeah. And he has
Speaker 2 00:18:24 Blessing just means that all of God's goodness and his grace and his favor flows into your life and you can receive it and turn it right back and send it to him by sending all the goodness and the grace and the favor of your life. Back to the name of God, bless the Lord. All my life,
Speaker 3 00:18:40 Soul and all that is within me. Praise his name. So come on. Can you just bless God right now? Basically just, just tell God who he is to you. Tell God what you're grateful for.
Speaker 2 00:18:53 Speak it out loud by faith. God bless your name. God, I bless who you are. God, I praise you in this moment. God, I thank you for the season of God. I thank you that you have kept me. God, I thank you for your grace and your goodness and your favor upon my life. God, I thank you that you have never left me nor forsaken me. That you have been with me every step of the way that your love will never be stopped. That nothing can separate me from the love that you have for me. God, I bless you
Speaker 3 00:19:26 With all that. I am.
Speaker 2 00:19:28 I turned my attention and my heart and my focus,
Speaker 3 00:19:31 I guess, towards you in jesus' name, come on Valley Creek. It's a new season. It's a new season of rising up to a kingdom posture, a kingdom spirit, and a kingdom perspective in Jesus name. And you receive the blessing of God. May we not spend our lives striving for the blessings of this world? May we receive the blessings of God? May we choose to bless our church, our city and God in Jesus name. So will you join me in just singing out these words for the next few moments. Let's just declare this, take him <inaudible> face and be gracious to you.
Speaker 0 00:20:52 You bless you and keep you <inaudible> you <inaudible>
Speaker 4 00:23:41 Favor be upon you and a patients and your family, your children, and their children and their children. May his presence go before you and behind you and beside you all around you and within you, he is with you. He is
