Present With Them

God designed us to live in the presence of the family He has given us! His heart and design is to be present with us, as our good Father, and to put us in a family to be present with one another. To be present means we are wherever we are with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, fully available to do whatever God wants to do. In this message, Eric Sommerhauser teaches us that we can be present with our families by practicing gratitude, saying "no" to what divides us, and investing our wealth (time, energy, finances) in our families. We're all present to something. And when we are present to something, it requires us to be absent to something else. So, are we present with the right things? Joshua 24:15 says, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Remember, it starts with "as for me." Let's decide today that we will be people who choose to carry the ministry of presence.
