What is the normal Christian life? In Acts 3, people were astonished by the power and godliness of Peter and John as they performed miracles and carried hope in the name of Jesus. But why were the people surprised? In this message, Pastor John Stickl teaches us that when we surrender our will to Jesus, power and godliness are the result. That is the normal Christian life! When we obey God, we get to experience more of Him. When Peter and John healed in Jesus' name, they obeyed and surrendered their wills to allow God to move in and through them, and as a result, they gained access to what was beyond them. They were willing to surrender because they trusted that God is good! What if the kingdom coming to earth is more dependent on our obedience than on God's willingness?
