Hope is the confident expectation of the goodness of God today, even though we feel forgotten. Sometimes, we feel like we are doing everything right but our circumstances don’t change. If we are going to get from where we are to where God is leading us, we need to learn how to deal with the disappointment of feeling forgotten. Disappointment is normal, but because of what Jesus has done, we don’t have to live with a spirit of disappointment. We can live with a spirit of hope!
